Ellen Lindsay is an award-winning American director and actor based in New York City.

 

Originally from Louisiana, she holds an MFA in Acting from Louisiana State University and a BA in Theatre with Honors from Tulane University in New Orleans.

 

Experience on New York film and tv sets led her to directing.

She is drawn to realism, often through a feminist lens. 

Through compelling stories, her work also explores the interior world of characters' lives - their dreams and subconscious - cinematically translating their inner worlds into the outer actions of everyday life.
